Care for Every Child. Support for Every Family.

Linc Youth Services Inc. provides residential and community-based support for children and youth who require out-of-home care, and the families and agencies working alongside them.

For Families & Youth

You Don't Have to Navigate This Alone.

When a child or youth requires out-of-home care, it can feel overwhelming — for the young person and for the family. Linc is here to provide stability, safety, and a genuine sense of belonging for every child in our care.

Our approach is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally respectful practice. We recognize that every child carries a unique story, and we work hard to honour that story while building the skills and connections they need to thrive.

We support

  • Children and youth ages 0–18 requiring out-of-home care
  • Youth transitioning from care to independence
  • Families working toward reunification
  • Children and youth from diverse cultural backgrounds
  • Young people with complex trauma histories

Our Approach

Trauma-Informed. Culturally Respectful. Evidence-Based.

Everything we do at Linc is grounded in a commitment to trauma-informed care, cultural humility, and evidence-based practice. We believe that every child deserves to feel safe, seen, and supported — and that the systems around them should reflect that belief.

Trauma-Informed Care

We understand the impact of adverse childhood experiences and design every interaction to promote safety, trust, and healing.

Cultural Respect

We honour the cultural identities, languages, and traditions of the children and families we serve, and actively work to reflect that in our staffing and practices.

Family-Centred Practice

Wherever possible, we work to strengthen family connections and support reunification — because children thrive when their families thrive.

Collaborative Care

We work as partners with referring agencies, schools, healthcare providers, and communities to ensure every child has a coordinated circle of support.
